Clarendale of Addison Introduces the Community to New Executive Director, Cynthia Miceli

Cynthia Miceli

Addison, Ill. (February 20, 2020) –Clarendale of Addison is pleased to announce that a new executive director, Cynthia Miceli, is helping the recently opened senior living community in Addison manage day-to-day operations of the community and entry of first residents.

“I was very comfortable passing the reins to Cynthia when I received a leadership position at Clarendale of Addison’s management company, Life Care Services,” says Katie Harvey, Senior Director of New Development. “As Clarendale’s new executive director, she brings extensive, well-versed senior living experience and passion to the role. The community is in good hands.”

Miceli is the daughter of two doctors, whom she says were her role models, setting a daily example of serving, caring and giving to others. In addition to a quarter century of leadership in the senior living industry, the new executive director’s collegiate studies and early career focused on hospitality. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Michigan State University with a focus in hotel, restaurant and institutional management.

“I have always been hospitality-focused, creating memorable moments for everyone I have the privilege to support—including a dedicated team, invested in every resident, their families and the community we create and share together,” Miceli says. “There are many area senior living choices, so for me, it’s more than offering exceptional amenities. It’s about creating a vibrant environment where residents have opportunities to stay fit, eat well, pursue their goals and connect with others every single day. That’s what we offer at Clarendale.”

Miceli adds, “I’m committed to helping older people live their best lives. And at Clarendale, they can do just that. Residents are right in the heart of it all—near shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, parks, golf courses and area churches. And for peace of mind, three top hospitals are just a short drive away.”

A variety of floor plan options are available at Clarendale of Addison. Residents may choose from private one- and two-bedroom apartments in both independent living and assisted living. Studio suites are available in memory care. Residents also enjoy access to community spaces for socializing and entertaining, including Salt Creek Bar and Lounge, a restaurant-style dining room and casual bistro, club room, salon and fitness center.

Now that Clarendale of Addison is officially open, interested seniors and families may schedule a visit to see the community. It is located 20 miles from downtown Chicago and convenient to O’Hare airport on a 4.1-acre site along Lake Street in the Village of Addison.
